WARC will conduct an ARRL Kids' Day at Northside Methodist Academy (NMA) on June 18th, times TBA.
Please mark your calendars & let me know ASAP if you can participate
onsite or offsite responding to calls.
Initial plans are for 1 HF station, 1 VHF station on local repeater and a
Morse Code practice area. I would like to have at least 2-3 licensed
operators to help out.
This should be good exposure for our Club as well as attracting youth (&
their parents) to our hobby & Club.
For those who may not know yet, Matt Johnson, N5MTJ is working diligently
to start a Amateur Radio Club at NMA. I encourage us all to support his
efforts as fully as possible. This is a great beginning in the Dothan
area.
POC is Railey Macey, K3RWM at rmacey@sw.rr.com or 334-793-5242 ofc or 718-7327 cell.
